The school was established in 1981 as a ministry of Toongabbie Baptist Church.
Originally known as Toongabbie Baptist Christian Community School, the name was changed in 2001.
The school commenced with a vision to partner with Christian parents and the church to grow up Children into Christ.
The school has grown from its beginnings as a small Primary school located in rooms at Toongabbie Baptist Church. In subsequent years classes were held at various locations, including Dunmore House at Pendle Hill. Through the mid eighties and early nineties, the current campus at Metella Road, Toongabbie, was established and developed.
Today, the school is a pleasant well-resourced campus that caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. With an enrolment of over 1000 students and more than 130 staff, the school offers a dynamic and exciting learning environment.
Selecting the best school for your son or daughter is a very important decision. Whether your child is entering school for the first time in kindergarten, joining the primary school at Year 4, or looking to complete senior school in Years 11 or 12, your choice of a school will have a significant and long lasting effect on their life, thinking and eternity.
We believe that Toongabbie Christian College is a very special learning environment. We provide a quality education which develops the whole person in a Christ-centred, caring community. Since 1981 we are a spacious, well-resourced campus with a student enrolment of over 1000 children and a staff of over 130. The best education occurs when Christian values that are upheld in the home are the same values supported by the School. We can achieve this by ensuring all our Staff are committed Christians who are active in emphasising a Christian perspective in every subject.

The Toongabbie Christian College operates as a “not for profit” incorporated company. The company is made up of Toongabbie Baptist Church members who act as ‘shareholders’ of the company. The company approves the constitution, annual reports and Board nominations. From these company members the church representatives are also elected.
