Morning Music Ministry Leader
MINISTRY VISION:
Our vision for this ministry is to create a team of people with a love for God, who are able to lead to congregation to worship. Members that can be relied on to carry out their duties and successfully play/sing for their rostered services and special events.
POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
POSITION: Morning Music Ministry Leader
REPORTS TO: Creative Services Pastor
ROLE PURPOSE: To lead and mentor the music ministry
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Ongoing throughout the year
- Communicate the purpose and vision of the music ministry to the Team members
- Encourage the team and co-ordinate and motivate them to serve cheerfully
- Encourage the new volunteers
- Ensure Sunday Morning teams have the necessary people to adequately function. Help arrange swaps or “fill-ins” for gaps in the roster as needed
- Complete the Incident report form when accidents or incidents happen.
- Look for new songs to be submitted to the senior pastor and integrated into our song list
- Encourage, mentor and give feedback to Morning worship and band leaders
Quarterly
- Roster team members onto Morning services each term.
- Meet with worship/band leaders
- Each term our ministry leaders meet with a staff mentor whose goal is to encourage, support, give oversight and pray for the leaders and ministry.
Annually
- Assist in completing Annual ministry start-up checklist at the beginning of year to make sure you have completed risk management and are ready to run for the year
- Assist in preparing a music ministry budget
Special Events – Assisting in planning the musical aspects of special events E.g. Carol
Evening Music Ministry Leader

REPORTS TO: Creative Services Pastor
ROLE PURPOSE: To lead and mentor the music ministry
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Auditioning Music Ministry Leader

POSITION: Auditioning Music Ministry Leader
REPORTS TO: Creative Services Pastor
ROLE PURPOSE: To Integrate and mentor music ministry members
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Ongoing throughout the year
- Organise and run auditions for new volunteers
- Integrate new members into the band and rosters
- Assist new members in setting up and using Elvanto
- Assist and encourage the new volunteers
- Complete the Incident report form when accidents or incidents happen.
- Look for new songs to be submitted to the senior pastor and integrated into our song list
- Each term our ministry leaders meet with a staff mentor whose goal is to encourage, support, give oversight and pray for the leaders and ministry.

Training Music Ministry Leader

POSITION: Training Music Ministry Leader
REPORTS TO: Creative Services Pastor
ROLE PURPOSE: To train and mentor the music ministry
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Ongoing throughout the year
- Train and encourage the music team volunteers
- Organise 3-4 training workshops throughout the year to encourage and grow the team
- Encourage the youth band and co-ordinate and motivate them to serve cheerfully
- Ensure youth bands have the necessary people to adequately function. Help arrange swaps or “fill-ins” for gaps in the youth events as needed
- Complete the Incident report form when accidents or incidents happen.
- Look for new songs to be submitted to the senior pastor and integrated into our song list
- Roster youth onto youth services each term.
- Each term our ministry leaders meet with a staff mentor whose goal is to encourage, support, give oversight and pray for the leaders and ministry.
