New to Church?
We love having new people visit or enquire about Toongabbie Baptist Church. If you’re new to church, we encourage you to attend for 3 weeks to get a good idea of what it is like and to settle in.
After every service, please visit our friendly welcome team and receive a gift from us to you.
You will have the opportunity to ask any questions about our vision, history, and what we have to offer!
We also hold a ‘Newcomers Morning Tea/ Supper’ every second sunday of the month. This is your chance to meet and greet our Pastors, Staff and our key team, alongside others new to the Church.
Come as you are
We encourage people to come as they are without the added stress of dressing up with suit and tie. Whilst people tend to judge on outward appearances, God loves us no matter what we look like and is more interested in what’s on the inside. We’ll welcome everyone, every week and give you a barista style coffee on us.
Morning Service (10:00am)
Our Morning service is for all cultures and walks of life. It includes a blend of contemporary and traditional music for worship, life-transforming, Bible based teaching, prayer, life stories and much more. Visitors are always welcome and we have people ready to greet you and show you around. The service usually runs for approximately an hour and a half and parking is available on site.
For the kids…
In the morning service, during term time, we run a fun kids’ program for ages 6 months to Year 9, which begins approximately 20 minutes into the service. We are always conscious of your children’s safety so we ask that you sign them in and out of our kids’ church. This program is entirely optional and your kids are more than welcome to remain in church with you. The morning service also has a supervised creche and a private area where you can feel comfortable to feed your baby.
Parents Room
During each of our weekend services, we have a parents room available where you can tune into the service without worrying about noise from infants and with privacy to feed your baby (in a ladies only cry room) should the need arise.
Evening Service (5:30pm)
All ages are welcome to our evening service. It includes worshipful music; Bible based teaching with practical application, prayer, life stories and more. The service usually runs for approximately an hour and a half and the same sermon is preached as in the morning.
Our Cry rooms are available for parents to use at night. Parking is also available on site.
What happens after the service?
After each service there is an opportunity to catch up over coffee and cake. If you are new, please feel welcome to stay and you can get a feel for our Church.
Messages are available each week here on the web.
