God
God is the loving creator of the world in which we live in today. The world he created was a beautiful, self-sufficient place for humans to live and work. He was easy to talk to - face to face. Then we messed up. We created a barrier between God and us - sin - caused by rejecting God's loving rule in our lives. There is only one way to fix this....

Jesus
Jesus Christ is God's one and only Son. He was born of the virgin Mary, and lived a normal life, like anyone else, except for one thing - he was perfect. He did not sin. He did not do anything other than what God wanted and this meant he could do one thing for us - he could take all our sin on his plate, and die for us. You see, if I was to die for you today, then you would have no sin on your chest, but someone would have to die for me first, so that I was pure and could die for you! This could go on throughout the whole human race, but it wouldn't work. Jesus is the only one who was already pure, and therefore could die for you and I. It's now up to us.

Us
We messed up. Plain and simple. And if we don't take Jesus into our lives, we're going to hell. There is the only way to be saved - through Jesus. In John 14:6, "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Also, it says in Romans 10:9, "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This decision can only be made by you. Only you can decide to except Jesus into your life, live your life for him, and to go on to the marvelous place that God has planned for us - Heaven.

It's quite simple. And logical. If someone saved your life, you'd want to live your life for them, wouldn't you?
