One of the highlights of the year is celebrating Christmas together in the Community. This year once again TBC is looking forward to presenting Carols on the Metella Road Public School oval. A great program is being planned and the night will conclude (weather permitting) with a fantastic fireworks display.
We especially value our Carols sponsors who help with some of the heavy costs for all the hire gear for the event. Carols as a production takes a lot of equipment and a lot of effort. If you are interested in sponsoring Carols, please download a sponsorship booklet for all the extra information needed.
5.00-7.30pm There is a family carnival atmosphere as people arrive and get the best position for carols. There is FREE entertainment for the kids with jumping castles, craft, face painting and some friendly games. To make it easier for families, there is also have a BBQ, Barista coffees, drinks, popcorn, Fairy floss and of course a variety of glow candles available. The sale proceeds from these stalls helps to keep this a free event for all.
7.30-9.00pm is the main Carols program with a variety of sing-along carols and items. The Metella Road Choir will once again be performing this year.
Approx 9.00pm is the awesome fireworks display for everyone to enjoy.
WET WEATHER: unfortunately we cannot operate in wet weather outside. If heavy rain is forecast, the Carols program will be moved to the Church Auditorium located at 180 Toongabbie Road, Girraween. See our “Toongabbie Baptist Church” Facebook event page for up to date event details.
