Toongabbie Baptist Church also has a care team to provide extra help for families in times of crisis or extra need. The team is made up of volunteers from within the church, who lend a hand to those in need in a variety of ways listed here and more.
Meals Ministry – During times of difficulty, one of the best ways to support one another is with a meal. Many share meals spontaneously and we also have a team who support new mothers and others who are experiencing sickness in the family.
Crisis Care – The church seeks to assist with short term crisis care through the provision of a food hamper for those connected with the church.
Hospital Visitation/Palliative Visitation – We have a team who love to care and support people in both long and short term hospital stays. The team shows care through prayer and care in a time of need.
Home Visits – These are a great way to support and care for you as you journey through life and need a friend to talk to or to pray with you.
Funerals – Our Pastors are caring and supportive in your time of bereavement and are experienced in helping people to arrange the funeral of a loved one. We know this can be a difficult time and we are here to help. For more information contact the church office.
Care Volunteers – We would love for people in our church who have a heart to care for others to join one of our care teams. This is our Care Ministry Team.
